WHITEONION

Description

A type of globe onion, are round and quite large, typically 8 to 10 Cm across. Among the most common onions available, they have yellow skin, although some are white, and pale or white flesh. The flavor is milder and sweeter than regular globes, but not as sweet as “sweet onion” varieties. The versatile Spanish onion is used raw and cooked.
